Last year I heard about the Juvenile Arthritis Conference the week it was being held. Even though I had no idea what it was or why people went I was able to see through posts and shares what a blessing it was. It was awesome to see photos of all these families together for the same purpose. It was sobering as well to see that those families are just a small fraction of the families living with Juvenile Arthritis.
This year the conference is being held in Anaheim, CA. Even though we are unable to attend this year I have been following the posts about the conference. Those who have been organizing the event have been working so hard and it already looks like it’s going to be a HUGE success. They have family nights planned, special events for the kiddos, speakers, field trips, and more. If you’re a family living with JA I highly recommend that you look into going. You can also contact your local chapter of Arthritis Foundation and get info on possible scholarships. (Not all chapters have scholarships available.)
