There are so many things to be thankful for…especially in the wake of Hurricane Sandy’s destruction. I’m going to jump on the wagon like many others and post daily something I am thankful for. It’s so important to remember the little things and count our blessings! Today I will post two since I missed yesterday:
1) I am so thankful for a wonderful children’s hospital so close to home and for the fact that we have amazing pediatric rheumatologists on staff there. There are still nine, yup, NINE states that do not have a pediatric rheumatologist.
2) I am thankful for my amazing husband. We’ve been through a lot the past 12 years (married almost 10 of them) but we’ve grown stronger every day. Marriage is work, anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. We’ve been finding that the key to a successful marriage is knowing that it’s not easy and being willing to put in the work knowing that the end result is an amazing bond and partnership that you will treasure forever. I love you, Babe, always and forever with all my heart!
Now, you’re probably wondering what the heck NaBloPoMo is aren’t you? Yeah, when I saw it the first time I was thinking, “What the heck?!” There is a blogging community called BlogHer that is a great way to meet other bloggers and learn more about blogging and having a successful blog. They put forth a challenge called NaBloPoMo (which stands for National Blog Posting Month)…a challenge to blog every single day of November. I’ve actually been trying to do this on my own but having this challenge helps keep me accountable with my fellow blogging buddies!
So come on blog buddies! Join in the fun and see how you will grow not only your blog but your blogging abilities this month!
